Overflow with odour trap and suction of surface water. Overflow siphon with a snorkel on both sides of the surface water in the rainwater storage tank. Regular overflowing of the cistern is important for consistently good water quality to prevent the water from “rotting”. The floating layer could seal off the water surface in such a way that no oxygen can get into the water and therefore an anaerobic decomposition process could take place.
Operating principle: Particles that are lighter than water (e.g. pollen) slowly rise and float on the water surface. This floating layer is removed when the cistern overflows by the specially shaped overflow siphon with skimmer effect. DN 50 connection pipe to use a HT pipe as a support pipe. Is supported on the rainwater storage wall. The overflow siphon is filled with water (odour trap). If the storage tank has a low water level, the support helps to keep the overflow siphon in the correct position.
