The floating intake fitting is the fourth purification stage in rainwater harvesting. The rainwater should not be taken directly from the lowest point in the cistern, as otherwise sediment particles will be stirred up and carried along. Therefore, it is recommended that the water be taken from higher regions in the cistern. The pump base (pump foot) works with submersible pumps.
